Lifetime Warranty

 

This Lifetime Warranty is provided by LOCH, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates under company number 619952, with its registered office at Office 206, Warsan Tower, Tecom, Dubai, UAE. References in this Lifetime Warranty to “we”, “us” or “our” are references to LOCH, and references to “you” or “your” are references to the person who has purchased a LOCH bottle or another product from us or one of our authorized LOCH retailers.

We are so convinced that the LOCH bottle is the best 18/8 medical grade stainless steel vacuum-insulated bottle available that we guarantee every LOCH product with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Although our lifetime warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, including dents, scratches, powder coat chips from the bottle being dropped or damaged, etc., it does cover manufacturing defects.

Before submitting a warranty claim, please read the following:

Broken or leaking lids: If your lid breaks or you notice a leak, do not send your bottle to us. Instead, send us an email to [email protected] with your warranty details. Please note that you may be required to send us a photo of your lid to validate the claim. You will be responsible for the shipping charge to have the bottle returned if you send the bottle to us.

Bottles that seem to have lost their insulating properties: You can test the insulation of your bottle at home with boiling water. Pour hot water directly into the bottle, filling it all the way to the top, with caution. Do not hold the bottle while filling it, and do not place the lid on the bottle. Wait five minutes, then feel the outside of the bottle. If you feel any hot spots, the insulation has been compromised and you are eligible for a replacement.

Bottles that are damaged during the shipping process: Please contact us if you ordered your bottle from www.loch.life and it has arrived damaged. We will email you a pre-paid shipping label to return the damaged bottle and will send out a replacement upon receipt. Please note that if you use your bottle, we cannot replace it due to shipping damage.

 

Warranty claims will only be approved by LOCH if the product was purchased from us or an authorized LOCH retailer. This warranty is limited to the lifetime of your LOCH product. The limited warranty provided by LOCH only covers manufacturing defects and does not include any damage or defect of any LOCH products caused by, whether directly or indirectly, any of the following: (i) improper use or misuse of the product; (ii) damage or defect caused by cleaning, disassembly, alterations or modifications; or (iii) damage or defect caused by or resulting from wear and tear, abuse, fire or Acts of God.

If you believe you have a defective bottle and wish to make a warranty claim, kindly send us an email to [email protected] listing your warranty details. Alternatively, if you purchased your LOCH product from an authorized LOCH retailer, please contact the authorized LOCH retailer that you purchased your LOCH product from to make a warranty claim and avoid unnecessary shipping and handling charges and delay.

 

Please note that your LOCH Bottle will be replaced by a LOCH Bottle of the same size and color. If the size and color are no longer available, it will be replaced by one of a similar size and color, which will be of at least equivalent value to the LOCH Bottle being replaced. Unfortunately, replacement bottles under warranty cannot be customized. If you have a bottle with a custom name or logo, we are not able to screen print or engrave the artwork on your replacement bottle. Once we have received your defective bottle, please allow 10-15 days for return delivery. You will receive a confirmation email once the bottle has been processed for a warranty exchange and an additional email once the replacement bottle has departed our warehouse. Those who have purchased engraved bottles will not have an engraved bottle sent to them under our warranty replacement policy.

In no event shall LOCH be liable or responsible for any damage, loss, cost or expense which is not foreseeable. Damage, loss, costs or expenses are foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our breach or if they were contemplated by you and us at the time that we entered into a contract.  Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and (iii) any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict our liability.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary according to region. Nothing in this warranty affects your statutory rights.
